THE LOST ONES

The Voyager Covenant, born from Earth's decline, hunts and reclaims its scattered descendants known as the Lost Ones, driven by a zealous, quasi-religious doctrine: to shepherd humanity's evolution into gods. They enforce their will through pervasive control, including the memory-erasing "haze" that shrouds colonized worlds like Able.

On Able, test pilot John Harper lives a life of engineered apathy, his past selectively obscured. But when a jarring truth shatters his conditioned reality, revealed in part by the long-lost warning of Rob Murdaugh —a voice from Able's true past —he's violently pulled into an improbable fight for personal liberation.

As layers of deception peel back, John discovers the profoundly speculative Godplane – a vast, interconnected cosmos where he can mysteriously access and manipulate whatever he wants at will. This singular discovery transforms his desperate quest for individual freedom into something far grander. It becomes clear that the Voyager Covenant's twisted path to deification can only be halted by awakening every Lost One from their engineered slumber, igniting a galaxy-wide rebellion that promises to shatter their divine aspirations and reshape the very fabric of existence.

To stop the Voyager Covenant from forging humans into gods,  John must become that very thing they seek to create.
