THE LATEST BY CHRIS MILES
A resurgent Earth hunts and destroys its hidden colonies. One man stands between what's left of humanity and becoming gods.

I write sci fi. It's a natural fit, given I've spent years as an Army Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) tech, where precision and problem-solving were part of the daily grind. Now, as a data engineer and scientist, I'm still untangling complex systems, just in a different kind of universe.
When I'm not building worlds or crunching numbers, life keeps me busy. I'm a fiancé and a proud dog dad of three. You'll also find me out on the water, hunting in the field, or tearing down a mountain on skis. These experiences, the grit and the calm, feed into the stories I tell. I pull inspiration from the sci-fi greats, but I'm focused on forging my own path.
The Lost Ones is a new science fiction novel that follows the story of John Harper, an enslaved test pilot on the planet Able, as he pushes back against the crusades of a resurgent Earth. His strife leads to a restored memory, unlikely alliances, and forbidden alien tech that he uses to ignite a rebellion and liberate the Lost Ones of Able, or destroy him entirely.
Chris Miles has begun working on book 2 of The Voyager Series, In Sheep's Clothing, with his eyes on the final book of the trilogy, House Divided.
